Gâtinais natural regional park
Milly-la-Forêt
Territoire
Seine-et-Marne shares these wide open spaces, covering several thousands of hectares, with its neighbouring department, Essonne.
If you walk through the park, you will see that it is made up of a series of very diverse landscapes: boulder fields and small sandstone plateaux, wet zones, clearings, forests, sandy soils.
The Park Visitors' Centre is open to the public, helping visitors to discover this unique but rather fragile heritage, by means of thematic tours, walks and extensive documentation.
