Discover the Chapel Saint-Blaise des Simples (10min from the historic center) around 11am.

It is in this Chapel Saint-Blaise of the Simples of XII ème century, last witness of the existence of a clumsy, that came to pray the lepers by invoking "Saint-Blaise the healer".
Surrounded by a Botanical Garden which includes medicinal plants, it was decorated on the theme of the Simples by Jean Cocteau in 1959. The academic poet rests there today.

Built in 1630 by Claude I Gallard, Chateau de Courances has undergone many changes over the centuries.

Today, it is still entirely private: enjoy a guided tour to learn more about its history and architecture!
